Book Blogger Hop June 28




This week's question submitted by Aloi. 

 Question: So would you read a book just because of the hype?

 Answer: I have been known to follow the crowd every now and then.When the Water for Elephants movie came out, I made myself go read the book. I think it's fun to be able to connect with people through books. When I am reading I feel like I am in my own little world, so when I get to share that world with others its great. It's a good way to build relationships.

    When a new movie is based on a book, I typically look into the book, but I don't always read it.

    If the book turns out to be a great read then I guess you do have lots of people to discuss that book with.

    I always try to read the book first if a movie is being based on it. I like doing that to see what the director and editor decided wasn't important enough to show the viewing audience. Noticing those differences also helps to facilitate discussions. =)

    Oh, I've been meaning to both read "Water for Elephants", and watch the movie -- especially since Robert Pattinson is in it! Lol.
